About Me

Hi, I’m Karen, a qualified Personal Stylist, based in Buckinghamshire.

I have a background working in women’s glossy magazines, on titles such as Elle and Cosmopolitan.

After many years in the magazine industry, I then worked as an agent for my photographer husband, having the opportunity to assist with styling on photoshoots. This led me to retrain and qualify as a Personal Stylist.

I absolutely love every aspect of being a Personal Stylist, from getting to know my clients and their individual needs, giving them relevant Style tools, bespoke advice and direction, to ultimately boost their Style confidence.

I particularly love creating different looks and combinations with clothes. It’s a great way to maximise our wardrobe’s potential, through wearing our clothes in different ways, across one or more seasons. As well as importantly being a more sustainable approach, it also helps build a capsule wardrobe and develops our own unique personal style, while making our wardrobes easier to navigate.

In 2018 I started my Instagram Style account @winktothewardrobe where I offer style ideas, tips and videos.

I am now very excited to be launching my online clothes boutique Wink Boutique, a selection of clothing and accessory items I’ve carefully selected to fill a gap in the market that I see for versatile quality products, competitively priced, wardrobe staples yet also hero pieces that stand out as being slightly different.
